Using an LMS (WebCT) for On-Campus Classes (formerly titled WebCT for On-Campus Classes)
Do your students often ask "what's my grade"? How about an online gradebook? Would you like to use WebCT's capabilities to get your students to read the chapter BEFORE you discuss it in class? How about requiring students to take an online quiz on assigned reading material before attending class? This is just a smattering of what WebCT can provide for on campus classes. LMS (WebCT) Fundamentals Workshop
This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to WebCT, a web-based course management system that can be used for online course delivery or in-person course support. Attend this workshop to gain an understanding of fundamental processes and procedures within WebCT including file upload and management, learning modules, content creation, and content links. This workshop is recommended as a prerequisite for all other CTL WebCT workshops.

LMS (WebCT) Communications Workshop
This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to communication tools house within WebCT. Attend this workshop to gain an understanding of both how these tools are used as well as why you might want to use them. Tools covered include WebCT Mail, Discussions, Chat, Who's Online, and Groups.

LMS (WebCT) Grade Book Workshop
Would you like to learn one way to give your students 24X7 access to their grades? Attend this workshop to experience, hands-on, the WebCT Grade Book. Topics covered include creating a WebCT Grade Book, adding and modifying columns, using calculated columns, creating calculation formulas, and much more.

LMS (WebCT) Quizzes and Surveys Workshop
This hands-on session will introduce participants to the WebCT Assessments tool. Participants will learn to create quizzes, self-tests, and surveys within WebCT and will experience taking the assessments from a student perspective.
