In attendance at the DLMG meeting:  Claudia Browning, Nicole Lohrbeer, Mark Bond, Rita Kasapis, and Peggy Johnson .

Faculty spent time working on their online course. Peggy provided two suggestions. Gordon Hensley, a previous DLMG member, uses a weekly reminder for his online class. He emailed Peggy a copy and she shared it with the group:

FYI, This is what I send students weekly, I thought you might be interested in seeing how I'm running this show! -Gordon

THE 111 Online

Update TIP/FACT/LINK OF THE WEEK: Did you know it's bad luck to whistle in the theatre? Win 5 extra credit points by being the first Email to Prof. Hensley with the explanation!

CLASS PROGRESS: Module 2 links were great for the most part!  The play critiques were fun to read also, some people loved it, others hated it.  As long as you give it a fair critique, you're doing a fine job.

Some folks are not making the deadlines.  Please pay attention to the time, as you have an entire month to complete each module.  Your classmates wrote some great time-keeping ideas on the discussion board: "SET those hours and KEEP those hours" "Pick a day or two where you will work on your class each week and then make a commitment to complete a certain amount of work on those days." "I print out all of the due dates ahead of time, print out all the homework due and then finish it, whether it is the night before or the hour before it is due." "I like to program due dates in my phone the day before so my phone rings at me and I am reminded about a school project."

"I think that keeping track of the due dates and doing a little bit every week really helps."

NEXT DEADLINE: Module 3 - THURSDAY March 31st, 5:00 p.m.

REMINDERS: Get tickets for the next show when you can!
